Hi Friends,

Yesterday we went on a long ride, I had not been on the trail this summer and had my worries about fallen trees, new fences and any other hazard. Other than a couple of new branches overhanging on the trail it all went well!

It was HOT! And unfortunately a little grey due to the ash in the air, but I was very surprised not to find the vegetation covered in grey powder. The truth is that you dont know what to expect, living this new adventure of a smoking volcano.
I was very excited because we also scrambled through the bush and found a new way to get home! We branched off the trail and followed a cow path, that needs some cleaning with a machette but takes me out into the open in a new place, just where I wanted.

Tomorrow we are going for a walk, that will be a new experience for me... those who know me know that I far rather horses to walk, but why not give it a try myself.
